Overview

Toons are the playable characters you guide through Dandy's World, descending Floor after Floor while extracting Machines and dodging Twisteds. There are roughly 40 Toons split across Common, Uncommon, Rare, Main Character, and limited Holiday and Event rarities, each rated on the same five-star stat scale. Every Toon's Expressions

This fan compilation showcases the full animation set and expressions for every released Toon up to the Squirm update. Watching how each character emotes is the fastest way to learn the roster and spot the Main Characters by their polished models. It also doubles as a visual checklist of who you still need to unlock. The Five Stat Categories

Every Toon is rated from 1 to 5 stars across five categories. Health (shown as 2HP for Main Characters, 3HP for others) determines how many hits you survive. Stamina governs how long you can sprint while kiting Twisteds. Both directly decide whether a Toon survives a chase.

Stealth controls how easily Twisteds notice and target you, making high-Stealth Toons like Astro and Cosmo natural extractors. Skill Check sizes the golden mini-game bar inside Machines, and Extraction Speed sets how fast the dial fills. High Skill Check plus Extraction Speed, like Shelly's 5-star Skill Check, defines the best extractors.

This table highlights fifteen standout Toons across rarities, their standout stat, and the role they fill in a team. Stats are taken from each Toon's current in-game values, where a 5-star rating marks the best in that category. Use it to pick your next unlock and balance your squad.

Rarities & How Toons Unlock

Toons are organized into rarities that hint at their power and cost. You unlock most of them by spending Ichor at Dyle's Store, but several also gate behind Research on a Twisted or completing another Toon's Mastery. The grid below summarizes each rarity and its typical unlock path, including the seasonal shops run by Ichor and event currencies.

Designations: L, OA, M, and SC

In Dandy's World lore every Toon carries a designation that hints at when they were created. There are 29 known designations total, with 18 confirmed to specific Toons. Mastery & Vintage Skins

Each Toon has a Mastery track of six tasks that reward an exclusive Vintage skin upon completion. Tasks usually combine travel distance, item use, surviving Floors, and Toon-specific challenges like Astro's Nap Time or Poppy's Panic Pop procs. • Travel tasks (e.g. Poppy 50,000m, Astro 150,000m, Pebble 175,000m) reward consistent play across many runs.
• Use-and-pick-up tasks, like Cosmo's 35 items or Yatta's 120 items, push you toward support and scavenging playstyles.
• Survival tasks such as Shelly's 80 Floors or Sprout's 30 Floors with Cosmo encourage team play and long runs.
• Ability-specific tasks, like Astro's Nap Time uses or Poppy's Panic Pop activations, teach you each Toon's kit.
• Finishing all six unlocks the Vintage skin and, for some Toons, gates the next character unlock.
