Waxwell Toon Stats & Ability

Waxwell is a high-skill extractor and kiter whose stat line rewards aggressive play. His five-star Movement Speed and five-star Skill Check make him strong on machines and chases, but his one-star Stamina means you must manage sprint carefully and lean on his Ignite ability to remove the Tired debuff. Pair him with strong trinkets to shore up his weak points.

His Ignite ability also buffs teammates, making him a hybrid extractor-support Toon rather than a pure selfish pick. This unique support angle lets him enable high-impact abilities from Goob, Scraps, and other long-cooldown Toons during the moments your team needs them most.

How to Unlock Waxwell

Waxwell is gated behind Goob, tying his lore to the grabber Toon family. You will need both Twisted Waxwell research and Goob Mastery progress, so plan a mix of long research runs and ability-focused solo runs to knock out the requirements efficiently.

Because Twisted Waxwell is rare, prioritize reaching deep floors where more Twisteds can spawn, and consider the floor-25 Break Room from the v0.23.1 QOL update as a safe checkpoint to heal, restock on free items, and reset stamina before continuing the grind for his research.

Twisted Waxwell & The Ignited Buff

Twisted Waxwell is one of the most mechanically distinct Twisteds in Dandy's World. He builds his flame over time and, once at full flame, leaves a trail of fire that grants other Twisteds the Ignited buff, increasing their vision radius and reducing their hit cooldown. This turns him into a force multiplier for the entire Twisted roster rather than a lone threat.

In practice he tends to run around quickly and even flee from players rather than attacking directly, making him feel more like a disruptive mascot who buffs the real dangers on the floor. Players report his spawn rate is low, so encountering him is itself a notable event in long runs.
