Dandy's World Christmas Event Guide - Dandy's World Wiki
A full guide to the Dandy's World Winter and Christmas seasonal event: limited-time Toons, their Twisteds, the Christmas Floor, Advent Calendar, Ornaments, and what carries over after the event.
Overview
The Christmas Event is Dandy's World' first ever seasonal event, returning annually for about a month each winter. It introduces limited-time Holiday Toons - Rudie, Ginger, Coal, and Bobette - their Twisted counterparts, a snowy lobby makeover, a Christmas Floor variant, and the Ornament currency spent at Bobette's Store. This Christmas event guide covers everything you need before the snow melts.
Watch: Surviving the Winter Event
This video is a live survival run through the Winter Event, playing the new Holiday Toons while encountering their Twisted counterparts. It captures the snowy lobby, Christmas lights and presents, the Ornament pickups, and the chaos of facing Twisted Rudie, Ginger, Coal, and Bobette alongside regular Twisteds. It is the best feel for how the event actually plays moment to moment.
Holiday Toons: Rudie, Ginger, Coal, Bobette
The Christmas Event introduces four limited-time Holiday Toons, purchasable from Bobette's Store with Ornaments and Ichor. Each has a distinct role - Coal can gift a heart to heal a teammate (similar to Cosmo), Ginger brings high Skill Check, and Rudie and Bobette round out the festive roster. Compare them to the regular cast on the all Toons page.
The Christmas Event is the only event with an unequal gender ratio - three females (Ginger, Coal, Bobette) and one male (Rudie). Coal is also Bobette's pet rock, tying the lore together.
| Toon | Role & Notable Ability | Availability |
|---|---|---|
| Rudie | Male Holiday Toon, themed around a reiner | Christmas Event only, Bobette's Store |
| Ginger | High Skill Check, community wants her at four hearts | Christmas Event only, Bobette's Store |
| Coal | Can gift one of her own hearts to heal a teammate | Christmas Event only, Bobette's Store |
| Bobette | Shopkeeper Toon who runs the event store | Christmas Event only, Bobette's Store |
Holiday Twisteds & The Christmas Floor
Each Holiday Toon has a Twisted counterpart, and the Christmas Floor is where they spawn. The Christmas Floor appears every five floors, has a guaranteed chance of spawning Holiday Twisteds, and reaching Floor 20 guarantees Twisted Bobette appears on that floor. The full roster of threats is on the all Twisteds page.
Survival video footage shows Twisted Rudie charging his antlers, Twisted Ginger described as a real menace, and Twisted Bobette being terrifyingly slow but persistent - a nightmare to distract. Snow falls throughout, with Dandy-shaped flakes in the centers.
Christmas Floor
Spawns every five floors with a guaranteed Holiday Twisted spawn, decorated with snow, lights, and presents.
Twisted Bobette
Guaranteed to appear if you reach Floor 20 on a Christmas Floor run. Slow but terrifying to distract.
Twisted Rudie
Charges his antlers at players and is highly persistent, demanding careful kiting and line-of-sight breaks.
Floor Event - Iced Over
A Christmas-themed Floor Event that adds seasonal hazards and mechanics during the event window.
Ornaments, Advent Calendar & Event Shop
Ornaments are the Christmas Event currency, earned by playing and collected as pickups during runs. They are spent at Bobette's Store in the Christmas lobby on Holiday Toons, Trinkets, and around 48 Christmas skins documented in the Christmas skins guide. The 2025 event added an Advent Calendar and a new seasonal item in Dandy's Elevator Shop.
The shop also runs Toon reworks, Gossip, and Quests for the Christmas Toons during the second event run, giving you more ways to earn Ornaments beyond standard play.
Earn Ornaments in runs
Pick up Ornament drops during floors and earn them from completed runs. Survival videos show players scrambling to grab every Ornament that spawns.
Spend at Bobette's Store
Buy Holiday Toons, event Trinkets, and Christmas skins. The shop is a separate vendor in the Christmas lobby, run by Bobette herself.
Open the Advent Calendar
New in 2025, the Advent Calendar hands out daily free rewards including skins like New Year's Ginger at no Ornament cost.
Complete Christmas Toon Quests
The 2025 event added Quests for the Christmas Toons, offering another Ornament source alongside Gossip and Toon reworks.
What Carries Over After the Event
Events last about a month - the 2024 run was 31 days, the 2025 run 35 - and they return annually. Knowing what persists and what vanishes is essential so you do not lose progress. The carry-over rules are consistent across events and tracked in the update history.
The short version: anything you unlocked stays, and anything unspent is gone. Holiday Toons, Trinkets, Stickers, and Skins remain usable year-round, and any Holiday Twisted Research you collected can still be viewed.
| Item | Carries Over? |
|---|---|
| Holiday Toons (Rudie, Ginger, Coal, Bobette) | Yes - usable year-round once unlocked |
| Holiday Trinkets, Stickers, and Skins | Yes - remain in your collection |
| Holiday Twisted Research | Yes - can still be viewed after the event |
| Unspent Ornaments | No - disappear when the event ends |
| Christmas Floor and decorated lobby | No - return only when the event reruns |
Event Tips & Notable Details
A grab bag of details that help you make the most of the Christmas Event, from Twisted behavior to free skin pickups.
- Treat every fifth floor as high-threat - the Christmas Floor guarantees Holiday Twisted spawns.
- Reaching Floor 20 on a Christmas Floor guarantees Twisted Bobette, so prep your distractor.
- Coal can gift one of her own hearts to heal a teammate, similar to Cosmo - a strong support pick.
- The community hopes Ginger gets bumped to four hearts in a future rework, possibly with a stat nerf.
- Snowflakes during the event have Dandy shapes in their centers - a small but beloved detail.
- The 2025 event added Toon reworks, Gossip, a new seasonal elevator item, and a Snow-Time cosmetic pack.
- All second event reruns (2025 Christmas included) get a Cosmetic Pack, a pattern likely to continue.
Planning Around the Annual Return
Because the Christmas Event returns every year, you can plan across runs. If you miss a Holiday Toon or skin one year, it comes back - but Ornaments never carry over, so bank your unlocks during the active window. The how to survive guide pairs well here, since the Christmas Floor demands sharp survival fundamentals.
Think of each event as a finite farming window. Prioritize the Holiday Toons and any must-have skins first, then spend leftover Ornaments on Trinkets and lower-priority cosmetics. The Advent Calendar's free daily drops ease the grind significantly.
