Pebble Dancifer Jr.: Stats, Abilities & Strategy - Dandy's World Wiki
A complete guide to Pebble Dancifer Jr., Dandy's pet rock-dog and the top distractor Main Character in Dandy's World, covering his 5-star Movement, Speak! active, and Fetch! passive.
Overview
Pebble Dancifer Jr. is a Main Character distractor introduced June 14, 2024, and Dandy's own pet rock. He owns the highest Movement Speed in the game at 5 stars, backed by 4-star Stamina, making him the premier kiter and aggro-magnet for any team. His Speak! ability steals Twisteds off teammates and Fetch! highlights items, so a good Astro can keep him running forever.
Stats
Pebble's spread is purpose-built for distraction: max Movement, strong Stamina, and just enough Skill Check that extraction is bearable if needed. His low Extraction Speed is the clear tradeoff, so leave the Machines to Shelly and focus on keeping Twisteds busy. These numbers make him the game's top survivor.
| Stat | Rating |
|---|---|
| Health | 2 (Main Character) |
| Movement Speed | 5★ |
| Stamina | 4★ |
| Stealth | 1★ |
| Skill Check | 3★ |
| Extraction Speed | 1★ |
Abilities
Pebble's kit is all about aggro control and scavenging. Speak! is the defining distractor tool, letting him peel Twisteds off endangered teammates, while Fetch! turns him into a walking item radar. Together they make him the safest pick for grinding Research and event currencies, and the natural partner for a chasing distractor comp.
Speak! (Active, 60s)
Alerts nearby Twisteds to your location like a failed Skill Check and lowers your Stealth by 50 units, forcing them onto you. Stay in the Twisted's detection range or it will not pull aggro from far away.
Fetch! (Passive)
Highlights items scattered around the Floor, including healing, speed items, and Research Capsules. Great for spotting useful gear, but watch out, it also highlights the fake Twisted Rodger capsule.
Top Speed
His 5★ Movement is the fastest in the game, and with Dog Plush he can outwalk almost every Twisted except Twisted Pebble and enraged Twisted Glisten without even sprinting.
Aggro Magnet
Low 1★ Stealth plus Speak! makes Pebble a reliable Twisted magnet, ideal for keeping danger away from extractors and pulling wandering Twisteds toward your distractor.
How to Play Pebble
Pebble's job is to hold Twisteds in one area so extractors work safely. The core skill is restraint: do not sprint constantly, or slower Twisteds lose line of sight and drift toward your team. Pair these steps with our survival guide for chase fundamentals.
Hold a dedicated distract zone
Pick one area away from Machines and items and keep Twisteds there. Staying put prevents Twisted Pebble from dropping aggro and wandering onto extractors who pass through.
Sprint only when needed
Only run when a fast Twisted closes in, even around corners. Sprinting constantly makes slower Twisteds lose sight of you, forcing you to regather them and risking hits.
Use Speak! to save teammates
When a lower-Stealth Toon is being chased through your area, pop Speak! to pull the Twisteds onto you. Stay in detection range, or the aggro transfer will not trigger from too far.
Fetch and share items
Use Fetch!'s highlights to grab healing and speed items, pointing out healing to teammates when you do not need it. Mind that the fake Twisted Rodger capsule is also highlighted.
Trinkets, Items & Mastery
Pebble's trinkets split between distraction and extraction builds. Dog Plush is the flagship distract pick, letting him outwalk nearly every Twisted, while extraction trinkets patch his 1★ Extraction Speed for solo or fill-in runs. Browse full combos in our best trinkets guide.
- Dog Plush is the core distract pick, letting Pebble outwalk anything except Twisted Pebble, enraged Twisted Glisten, and Blackout Twisted Coal (22 walk speed); pair with Vanity Mirror or Train Whistle.
- Vanity Mirror lets him outrun almost all Twisteds during Panic Mode (39 run speed), and Train Whistle nullifies the Slow debuff from Twisted Vee and Ichor Leaks.
- Megaphone gives easier access to a Speak!-like effect, useful only when teammates are unorganized or have 3★ and below Stealth.
- Air Horns found around the map are a great backup when Speak! is on cooldown, functioning as a reusable aggro-pull.
- Mastery tasks: Survive 75 Floors and Travel 175,000 Meters to unlock the Vintage Pebble skin, one of the longest travel grinds among mains.
Lore & Personality
Pebble is a small, dog-coded pet rock, affectionate and playful toward most Toons and visibly concerned for his owner Dandy. He cannot speak English but clearly understands it, and his barks function as words to attentive friends like Astro, Gigi, Shelly, and Vee, who seem to hold real conversations with him.
Like the other dog Toons, Coal and Eclipse, Pebble has an intense staring problem that other characters frequently point out. He loves fetch and treats, has a short temper, and is friendly with Goob despite the classic dog-and-cat rivalry with Scraps, which Goob does not understand.
His handler is Devan Reed, who also handles Dandy, and his full name Pebble Dancifer Jr. makes him the only pet to inherit an owner's last name. That deep tie to Dandy cements him as a cornerstone of the Main Character roster and the game's lore.
